I have lost a number of people in my life, and I miss them all, but none more than my old man, just because he was the coolest dude I know. He was the kind of guy who never imposed his will on his kids, but always believed in freedom and helping his kids to learn to think for themselves ! Even during my years where I rebelled hard, and without a cause understood by society, he never financially cut me off. He didn't understand my reasons either, but he never imposed his will ! His attitude towards freedom and the free man and truth and goodness was so deep and so lived that he was criticised severely and mocked, and shown the results of his ideals by those who refused to accept them. But, unknown to him, this is his gift: he is remembered by his family, for the past 26 years, every day, not just with the intellect, but emotionally too: EVERY DAY.
So too is it with #democracy, my dear brothers and sisters, when it leaves us because we took things for granted, because we saw "strong men" impose themselves on critical institutions of the state, we saw a police state arising, we saw a mockery of the #freeman & #freedom, we saw nation states joining hands to mock and kill our beloved, truly strong, and gentle father, and didn't stand alert for this great concept and heroic truth, then know my dear brothers and sisters this shall be our gift : we shall wake up years later with emotional scars unable to open our mouth against the "strong state", with a silent song, a silent cry, a memory hidden in the prisons of our mind, unable to escape, unable to find freedom. Democracy has not been perfected anywhere, and we must plod on building a house of greatness for our gentle, loving, fearless father ! & For achieving greatness the people must know what the state does not want you to know !

Much of #democracy & its leadership is built around the emotional momentum of the masses but emotional discipline and understanding (in order to set the eyes free) have never been a part of our education system. So, is democracy just a distorted force thirsting for growth through knowledge !
